Architecture SIG: Call for New Chair(s)
William Grosso @ August 24, 2006
Awesome talk by Cal Henderson tonight at the SDForum Software Architecture and Modeling SIG.
It went almost two hours and covered almost everything you need to know about how to scale using the LAMP stack. And since the speaker is the guy who architected flickr, it had a certain authenticity to it.
On a related note, the SAM SIG is looking for a new co-chair. It’s not urgent– the next few months are booked with great talks and great speakers. But Ron’s only one person, and we try to have two (or more) co-chairs running each SIG.
If you’re interested in helping to run the architecture SIG, drop me a line.
