The Sad Truth About David Weinberger’s Readers

William Grosso @ June 26, 2006

David Weinberger writes an excellent blog. Truly compelling stuff on a regular basis. And if you go to his main web page, you'll notice some very good articles as well. His books are excellent too and in person he's a good conversationalist with genuine insight (I met him exactly once, when I picked him up [...]

SDForum Startup SIG Doing Well!

William Grosso @ June 25, 2006

A few months back, Chris Yeh and Nancy Tubbs took Founder's Forum, an older SDForum SIG, and rechristened it the Startup SIG. The idea was to refocus and re-eneregize the SIG, and make it more relevant to what's going on in the valley now.

The Web: It Be Changing

William Grosso @ June 20, 2006

Krugle: Business and Egosurfing

William Grosso @ June 15, 2006

Krugle went live yesterday. It's a search engine "for code and technical content."
That is to say, vertical search focused at the software developer market. Very interesting to me because I often want such a thing. When you're hacking together a prototype, you often "google for code." Having a tool that's explicitly designed for this purpose [...]

Google Tech Talks

William Grosso @ June 11, 2006

If you're reading this blog, you probably know that I help to run SDForum's Emerging Technology SIG.
My goal there is simple: to help to create an ongoing series of talks that prepares the entrepreneurial engineering community for what's coming down the pipeline.
Sidenote: There's been a lot of talk lately about what makes Silicon Valley what [...]
